NEW BEDFORD, MA – A 45-year-old woman was left dead after getting hit by a Ford F-150 on Route 140 north on Saturday.
The collision happened around 2:30 am, according to Turn to 10.
According to the police, the woman was pulled over. She was identified as Joy Swartzendruber.
Swartzendruber was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear if the Ford driver suffered injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Impairment was not a factor in Saturday’s crash.
The collision is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
