Two women, 25, dead in crash involving a tow-truck on I-93 in Boston

BOSTON, MA – One man was seriously injured, and two women were left dead in a crash on the I-93 in Boston Saturday.

The tow truck hit the back of the SUV, the Boston Herald reported. When the SUV, a ride-sharing vehicle, slowed down, the tow truck hit it. A Honda Civic then collided with the tow truck.

It is unclear if the tow truck driver was harmed. However, the driver of the SUV, a 53-year-old man, was hospitalized at Massachusetts General Hospital for severe, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The Honda Civic driver was unharmed and remained at the scene.

The two women – both 25 – from the SUV succumbed to their injuries and died. They were identified as Urashi Madani and Delanie Fekert.

Officials have not indicated if charges will be pending.
