NORTON, MA – A semi-trailer burst into flames on I-495 in Norton before 7 pm Thursday, ABC 6 reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown. However, Mansfield firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. The semi-trailer driver escaped from the trailer and was not reported injured, nor were the other drivers on the road.
Following the incident, two southbound lanes on the freeway closed but have reopened.
