WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA – Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person Tuesday in west-central Plymouth County on Tuesday.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. on the southbound side of MA-24 near mile marker 27.2 on the west side of West Bridgewater. This is about 30 miles south of Boston.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the collision. They say that one person was ejected when a vehicle overturned. It’s unclear if additional people or vehicles were involved.
Medics airlifted the injured party to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Officials closed MA-24 in the area of the crash for almost two hours while emergency crews worked at the scene.
