AMHERST, MA – Two were injured, and one died from a Friday morning multi-vehicle crash on Route 116 in Amherst.
The collision occurred before 9 am, according to WWLP. The exact details of the crash were not released. One vehicle overturned.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and two others were hospitalized at Baystate Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Part of Route 116 had to close but has reopened since.
