LEOMINSTER, MA – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital for serious injuries after they were hit by a vehicle on Willard Street after 10 p.m. Tuesday. Leominster Police said the driver thought they saw debris on the road, and tried to swerve to avoid hitting it. As a result, the motorist struck the pedestrian. There has been no official word on the pedestrian’s current condition.
