Man, 79, dies after getting hit by car in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, MA – A pedestrian crash claimed a man’s life at 211 Lowell Street in Wilmington Monday afternoon.  The collision happened before 1:30 pm, according to WVCB. It is unclear why the driver, a 60-year-old woman, hit a 79-year-old man.  The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Pedestrian crash in Everett leaves one dead

EVERETT, MA – A Saturday morning pedestrian versus car crash in Everett left a man dead, WCVB reported.  The collision happened before 1:45 am on Route 16. A 2001 Toyota Camry sedan hit a male pedestrian.  The driver of the Toyota Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He will not face any charges. WESTFORD, MA – A Tuesday night single-vehicle crash involving fire in Westford left one dead.  The collision happened on Littleton Road, NBC Boston reported. The car was facing a tree. However, it is unclear if the vehicle hit the tree. DUI crash on I-495 in Hopkinton claims life of 72-year-old man

HOPKINTON, MA – A wrong-way crash on I-495 in Hopkinton claimed a person’s life Wednesday, NBC Boston reported.  The collision happened before 12:30 am. A Ford Van driver, who was charged with a DUI, collided head-on with another vehicle. Then the Ford Van overturned.  One car nearby attempted to stop but ended up hitting the car the DUI driver hit.  The Ford Van driver was identified as 29-year-old Devin Arroyo from Taunton.  The driver initially hit by Arroyo was transported to UMass-Worcester Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and died. Bicyclist dead after crashing into opened Land Rover door in Somerville

SOMERVILLE, MA – An elderly bicyclist died after he collided with the door of a Land Rover in Somerville on Friday morning, according to information from MassLive. The crash happened on Broadway near Lou Ann David Park and south of Tufts University at about 11:20 a.m. 70-year-old Somerville resident Stephen Conley was riding his bicycle in the bicycle lane when a person operating a Land Rover opened their door. Dump truck rolls over after separating from cab on Route 2 in Arlington

ARLINGTON, MA – After a dump truck separated from a cab on Saturday, it overturned on Route 2 in Arlington.  WCVB said the cause of the crash was unclear. WAYLAND, MA (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – A woman was severely injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Wayland late Tuesday night, according to information from NBC Boston. WAYLAND, MA (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – A woman was severely injured and dozens of people were left without power after an SUV crashed in Wayland this afternoon.
