Narrative
CAMBRIDGE, MA – A 55-year-old woman died Friday while cycling when her bike collided with a vehicle at a busy Cambridge intersection.
The incident happened around 4:3o p.m. at the intersection of DeWolfe Street and Mt. Auburn Streets, which is on the south end of the Harvard University campus.
Police say the accident involved a box truck and happened when the truck slowed down to make a turn. The cyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her name to the public.
The driver of the box truck stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
