AUBURN, MA – A 9-year-old child suffered non-life-threatening wounds after getting hit by a vehicle while walking in the area of Oxford Street North & Inwood Road Tuesday morning. Auburn Police said it happened as children were making their way to school. It is not immediately clear if the driver was cited or will be facing charges. In addition, officials did not say if the child was taken to a hospital.
