Narrative
MIDDLESEX, MA – A police pursuit culminated in a fatal two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Woburn on Friday.
The accident happened late at night near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Commerce Way, which is just west of I-93.
Police say they attempted to stop a white Chevy Silverado for speeding, when the driver fled, exited the interstate, and collided with a silver sedan. Authorities ceased their pursuit when the Chevy left I-93.
The collision killed one person and injured two others. Officials have not yet released the name of the deceased.
A full investigation is underway.
