Pedestrian crash in Everett leaves one dead

EVERETT, MA – A Saturday morning pedestrian versus car crash in Everett left a man dead, WCVB reported. 

The collision happened before 1:45 am on Route 16. A 2001 Toyota Camry sedan hit a male pedestrian. 

The driver of the Toyota Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He will not face any charges. It is unclear if he was injured. 

The pedestrian was taken to CHA Everett Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died. 

The cause of the crash was not revealed, and the details are being investigated.
